The alfa and omega & how it destroyed our season.
This season was meant to be peddelen finest, for the first time we would take a shot at the 5 tours of division 1(.1) and we started off so well Shingleton won Tweedaagse and Michala was not challenged in Vuelta winning 3 of the first 4 stages. Then bad luck covered the team. Michala got injured and ended 10th in GC, Essex came too soon for us to recover from the dissapointment and we got another 10th in GC. The climbing team in absense of Michala didn't score any results and Dussel did not either so it was decided to give him his final shot in Germany and Nederlandse. No pressure or expectations.
Turning point was when Raducioiu won Criterium Provance
Germany went well though no factor in GC he got 4 stages and his 5th green jersey. In Nederlandse things hadn't looked this bright since season 10 when he first won Nederlandse. However bad luck striked again and we end out as we once started our history with Nederlandse.
Yes injuries and peddelen have a history.
You all know our obsession for winning this tour and it was no different when we started. Though being able to get in with a chance to win was more problematic as we thought twice an injury prevented us from entering. First time it was an injury that prevented us to make it into the top 75 in time. (we ended the season as number 47) and the second time Dussel got injured in Sicilia Rotondo G2 only minutes before the sign up. 3 seasons later a dream came reallity when we did our first "double"
For the rest you all know what happened.

Like I always say: too many injuries in tours.
Sad finish.
I fruckin hate injuries. They are so, well, pointless.
